Stonebwoy enstooled as ‘Togbe Dunyo I’ by Adaklu chiefs ahead of ‘Torcher Experience’ concert

Ghanaian reggae and dancehall star Stonebwoy has been honoured with a traditional title after he was enstooled as “Togbe Dunyo I” by the chiefs and people of Adaklu Goefe in the Volta Region.

The special honour took place a day before the successful staging of his “The Torcher Experience” concert, which was held on March 5, 2026, at the Youth Resource Centre in Ho. The event coincided with the musician’s birthday and celebrations marking Ghana’s Independence Day.

As part of the recognition, the chiefs of Adaklu Goefe also gifted the BHIM Nation president a parcel of land for a proposed “Stonecity” project aimed at empowering the youth and supporting community development in the area.

The concert itself attracted a massive crowd, with fans filling the venue to witness an energetic performance from the award-winning musician. Videos circulating on social media showed thousands of attendees singing along as the artiste delivered a high-energy set.

The night also featured guest performances from fellow Ghanaian artistes including Sefa, Cina Soul and Larruso, who joined the celebration and thrilled the audience.

Speaking in a recent interview, Stonebwoy revealed that he is currently preparing to release a new project titled “The Torcher II,” which he says will usher in a new era of sound and deeper messaging in his music.

The event marked a significant milestone in the musician’s career as he continues to blend reggae, dancehall and Afrobeats while embarking on what promises to be an exciting 2026 musical journey.
