Ghanaian TikTok personality Lopez has responded to remarks made by Dr Charis amid ongoing online discussions surrounding her husband, Vincent Ekow Assafuah MP, Old Tafo
In a video circulating on social media, Lopez advised Dr Charis to focus on her marriage and avoid engaging in the controversy that has attracted widespread attention online.
“I just have a short message for you, Mrs. Vincent,” Lopez said in the video. “If I were you, I would probably be ordering five boxes of pizza and celebrating. You won the battle. There is no gist to be looking for.”
According to Lopez, Dr Charis should concentrate on her new role as the wife of a public official rather than responding to discussions on social media.
“All I will say is that you won the battle. Just enjoy your marriage. You shouldn’t be on TikTok. You are an honourable’s wife now,” she added.
Lopez further stated that although both of them have previously created content on TikTok, she believes the situation has changed for Dr Charis following her marriage.
“I know we both do TikToks and create content, but you are no longer a content creator,” Lopez said.
The comments come after Lopez earlier made claims about past interactions she said she had with Assafuah months before his recent wedding. The matter gained traction online after she shared screenshots and details of what she alleged were conversations between them.
Dr Charis later addressed the issue in a separate video, saying she had been following the discussions online and reading various reports about the matter. She noted that some of the information circulating on blogs appeared confusing, as details from different sources did not always align.
The online exchange has since generated significant debate on social media, with users sharing mixed reactions to the unfolding situation.
