COCOBOD top management takes cuts to save cocoa industry

The Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) has announced salary reductions for its Executive Management and Senior Staff as part of efforts to address liquidity challenges facing the cocoa industry.

According to COCOBOD management, these salary reductions took effect on Monday, 16 February 2026.

It pointed out that the Executive Management has taken a 20% cut, while the Senior Staff have accepted a 10% reduction in their respective salaries.
