Media personality MzGee has called on the Ghana Police Service to arrest Russian national Vyacheslav Trahov following outrage over viral videos he allegedly recorded and shared online involving Ghanaian women.
MzGee, whose real name is Gloria Akpene Nyarku, expressed anger in a Facebook post after news broke that the Russian content creator had filmed and distributed private encounters with several women in Accra.
“Can Ghana Police Service arrest that ‘Russian’ guy already!” she wrote, urging authorities to act swiftly over the controversial incident.
Vyacheslav Trahov, also known online as Yaytseslav, has come under intense criticism after dozens of videos surfaced showing him approaching women in public places, particularly around the Accra Mall area, striking up conversations and later inviting some of them to his residence. 
Reports indicate that he allegedly used hidden recording devices, including Meta smart glasses, to capture conversations and intimate moments, sometimes without the women’s knowledge.  The videos were later shared on platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, and a private Telegram channel, where viewers reportedly paid a subscription fee to access more explicit content. 
Investigations also suggest that the Russian national uploaded teaser clips publicly while reserving longer footage for paid subscribers, raising concerns about privacy violations and exploitation. 
The incident has sparked widespread outrage across Ghana, with many citizens, public figures, and analysts calling for authorities to investigate whether the women involved were recorded without consent and to take appropriate legal action.
MzGee’s call adds to growing public pressure on law enforcement and cybersecurity agencies to address the matter and ensure accountability.
