A Russian national at the centre of controversy in Ghana over videos involving women has been accused of engaging in similar behaviour in his home country, according to claims circulating on social media.
The individual, identified as Vladislav Lyulkov, has recently faced criticism after videos he recorded and shared online involving Ghanaian women sparked public outrage and prompted a response from the Embassy of Russia in Ghana.
Amid the backlash, a Russian user on X alleged that Lyulkov had been engaging in similar conduct involving women in Russia for several years. The user claimed that his pattern of approaching and recording women did not begin in Ghana.
According to the social media posts, Lyulkov had previously created and shared comparable content featuring Russian women long before his videos gained attention in Ghana.
The claims have since gained traction online, intensifying scrutiny of the content creator’s activities both locally and internationally.
The Russian Embassy in Ghana had earlier reacted to the controversy, distancing itself from the individual’s actions while reiterating the importance of respecting local laws and cultural norms.
