Ghanaian actor and comedian Mr. Beautiful has revealed his long-term political ambition, stating that he hopes to one day become the President of Ghana.
Speaking in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, the actor opened up about his interest in politics when asked whether he intends to hold any political position in the future.
Responding to the question, Mr. Beautiful answered in the affirmative and explained that becoming president is his ultimate goal, though he is willing to begin with smaller political roles as part of the journey toward the country’s highest office.
“I want to become the next President. Who wouldn’t want to be the child of a rich parent? Becoming means it’s a process. I will go through the process to become,” he said.
According to the actor, if he gains the necessary resources and the support of constituents, he would consider contesting for positions such as a Member of Parliament as a stepping stone toward achieving his presidential ambition.
Mr. Beautiful also noted that he does not believe in waiting for the “perfect time” before entering politics. He disclosed that he has been a registered member of the National Democratic Congress for more than a decade.
The actor, who has long been known for his outspoken support for the National Democratic Congress, said his political aspirations are part of a gradual process that requires preparation, commitment, and the support of the Ghanaian people.
