Popular American YouTuber MrBeast has reportedly been honoured with the title “Chief of Development” following a $1 million philanthropic project aimed at transforming a community in Ghana.
The content creator, known globally for his large-scale charity initiatives, funded the construction of schools and clean water facilities as part of a broader outreach effort across parts of Africa.
According to reports, one of the first major interventions took place in an undisclosed community in Ghana, where an existing school structure had been declared unsafe for use.
MrBeast and his team reportedly demolished the deteriorating building and replaced it with a newly constructed and fully furnished facility.
In addition to rebuilding the school, the team also drilled a clean water well to serve both the pupils and the surrounding community, addressing long-standing water access challenges.
The reported traditional honour recognises his contribution to community development and infrastructure improvement.
The gesture has since sparked conversations online, with many praising the initiative for its direct impact on education and access to safe drinking water.
MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has built a reputation for combining digital entertainment with large-scale philanthropy, often documenting his charitable projects for his global audience.
