‘Even my mother’s ghost won’t approve’ — Stonebwoy speaks on Shatta Wale relationship after stage hug

Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has made it clear that any sudden display of friendship with rival Shatta Wale would not be genuine, despite their recent on-stage interaction.

Speaking in an interview with Saddick Adams on Angel TV/FM, the Bhim Nation boss emphasized that their relationship cannot transform overnight.

“Even my mother’s ghost will send me to Asamando the day she sees me smiling with Shatta Wale,” Stonebwoy remarked, underscoring his stance on their long-standing rivalry.

His comments come just days after the two artistes shared a brief moment on stage during a fundraising event in support of the Ghana national football team.

The interaction was initiated after a request from former President John Dramani Mahama was relayed to them by media personality Berla Mundi.

“Mr President says that Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale should hug on stage… I’m not the one asking,” Berla Mundi told the audience, prompting the brief but notable moment between the two artistes.

While the gesture drew public attention, Stonebwoy’s latest remarks suggest that any perceived reconciliation between the pair remains far from reality.
