The Warwick Africa Summit has unveiled Grammy Award-winning musician Eve and globally recognised photography duo Twinsdntbeg as headline speakers for its 2026 gathering at the University of Warwick.
The two-day summit, scheduled for February 28 and March 1, 2026, will mark a major milestone as it celebrates its 10th anniversary. Over the years, the Summit has grown into one of the United Kingdom’s most influential student-led platforms focused on Africa and its diaspora.
This year’s theme, “Mti ukiwa umeungana hauvunjiki,” translates to “A bundle of sticks is unbreakable,” underscoring the importance of unity, shared purpose, and collaboration in driving Africa’s progress across sectors.
Since its inception, the Warwick Africa Summit has served as a platform for meaningful engagement, bringing together students, academics, policymakers, business leaders, and creatives to explore ideas shaping Africa’s future. Discussions have spanned leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, culture, and development.
Organisers noted that Eve’s participation reflects the Summit’s commitment to highlighting influential voices whose impact spans entertainment, business, and philanthropy. Twinsdntbeg, celebrated for their compelling visual narratives documenting African and diasporic stories, further reinforce the Summit’s emphasis on creative excellence and cultural representation.
The organisers say the 2026 edition promises to be a defining moment, celebrating a decade of impact while fostering conversations aimed at strengthening Africa’s global presence and collective advancement.
