NPP Presidential Primaries: Vote for Kennedy Agyapong to create jobs and reduce unemployment – NPP Acting Regional Chairman

The Acting Central Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Michael Mensah, has urged delegates to vote overwhelmingly for Kennedy Ohene Agyapong to create jobs for the unemployed youth in the country.

He called on NPP delegates to accept any money offered by other candidates but to vote against them, emphasising that such payments are part of their ex-gratia.

According to him, none of these candidates remembered the delegates when they were enjoying power, while only Kennedy Agyapong can provide a better future.

In an interview with the media, Mr Mensah entreaties the NPP delegates not to allow anyone to intimidate or pressure them into voting for any candidate.

He reassured them that they need not fear having their names removed from the electoral album after the elections.

Furthermore, he assured them that no one can remove their names from the album post-election.

“Take the money; the money is your ex-gratia and vote for your future. They can’t take anyone from the album, nobody, because the NPP album will be expanded at the polling station level from five to seven.”

“Don’t let someone go for his contract and then promise you, only to later threaten you that if you don’t vote in his favour, he will take you off the list. Nobody can take anyone off the album.

“The polling station executives campaign for the candidate to elect, and Ghanaians are saying we should bring Kennedy Agyapong. No one can force anybody to vote for anyone,” he stated.

Mr. Mensah made these remarks during a tour of the Awutu Senya East and Gomoa East constituencies with the wife of Kennedy Agyapong, Mrs Christian Agyapong.

She also expressed that her husband is the only candidate capable of creating jobs to reduce the high unemployment rate in the Central Region, citing his proven track record.
