The Ghana National Supporters Union (GHANSU) is set to reveal the corporate heavyweights and international partners backing its ambitious 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign this Tuesday, 17 March.
With the global showpiece in North America less than 90 days away, the union will host an official unveiling ceremony at its Tesano headquarters in Accra.
The event, scheduled for 17:00 GMT, marks a pivotal moment for the #GhanaIsInTheHouse initiative.
Launched to galvanise support for the Black Stars across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, the campaign aims to ensure Ghana’s presence is felt both in the stands and across the diaspora.
GHANSU has already committed to sending a contingent of over 400 passionate supporters to the tournament.
These fans will provide the vibrant, rhythmic, and vocal backing that has become a trademark of Ghanaian football culture on the world stage.
The upcoming announcement will identify the commercial partners and global collaborators who are making this massive logistical undertaking possible.
“The unveiling of our sponsors and partners is a crucial step in our journey to the World Cup,” said Abraham Boakye, President of GHANSU.
“These collaborations will help strengthen our preparations and ensure that Ghanaian supporters make a powerful impact on the global stage as we rally behind the Black Stars.”
The #GhanaIsInTheHouse campaign is more than just a travel plan; it is a movement designed to unite fans.
Boakye has urged the public and union members to attend Tuesday’s event at the GHANSU Office Complex in Tesano, citing it as proof of the “growing momentum” behind the national cause.
As the countdown to the opening whistle in June intensifies, GHANSU’s move to solidify its financial and international backing ensures that when the Black Stars take to the pitch in North America, they will not be alone.
